instructions on how to install black lights in your car

okay, tell me if this is straight, I plan on installing black lights in the front and passenger seats so when I drive I can turn them on and I wont be that bored
so what I've bought are these

1. switch (I'm gonna be putting this on the extra opened slot beside the lighter socket and the foglight switch)
2. red and black wire
3. lite glow 9" thin light (compliments of target for $24.99)

instructions
- you'll have to take off the center console
- you'll have to take off the middle console so you can get behind and push the extra opened slot
- next you'll want to split the 12V wire that is connected to the 12 volt socket (here you'll split it with the lite glow's wire, and yes I cut off the head of the black lights)
- then you'll use the "red and black wire" to connect to the switch
- use the "extra opened slot" for the switch
- put everything back together

I'm placing the to neon rods horizontally under the glove compartment and on the "under the steering wheel" cover

are these instructions correct? if not, tell me!!!
so I can do it right the first time

oh and I'm doing it cause I've always wanted black lights, and it gives the passenger something to look at while I'm driving =)

you dont need to take out your center console, JUST the panel where the cig lighter is. you can tap into that pos and neg and put teh switch wherever youwant.

then run all teh cables behind your panels, easy to do, and voila. done.

ah I see. yeah whoops, you dont have to take out the center console

hey...so splitting the 12volt wire in the back....that's a good idea?? =)

I cant image running a wire all the way back to the battery, that's way too much work for someone lazy as I am

=)

okay....so if you DO wire via your 12 volt socket

are you still allowed to use the 12 volt socket at the same time??

someone told me that it's not advisable
