Re: Manual to Auto
Usually people want to go the other way (auto to manual)
The amount of time, money, and effort involved will greatly exceed the value of the car. Go buy a car with the trans you want

Re: Manual to Auto
Plus automatics are typically cared for better than manuals. Manuals are typically worth more than automatics anyway so you'd probably end up making money by just changing cars.
Re: Manual to Auto
I swapped auto to manual, and only because I already had other modifications/wanted to learn about transmissions.
time wise you're looking at 1 to 3 days, 1-3 8 hour shifts including snacks and clean up. This depends on your organization and familiarity with the vehicle.
You will also need 1-2 hours at a scrap yard to pull everything.
..........
In my case since the manual transmission has no relationship with the pcm/ecu I was able to drive in limp mode down to honda to recode my key and change out the ecu.
I'm not sure if that will work for you though, you might need to tow the car to honda to reprogram the key to the pcm/ecu.
or maybe if you have a second key/ignition/ecu you can bring them those ahead of time. Not sure though.
