Archive - Vehicles for Sale/WantedThis is a combined subforum for all Civics for sale and wanted. It is up to the buyer to inspect the vehicle before finalizing the purchase.
Hello everyone. Longtime lurker on these forums, and unfortunately my first post is to list my EK Hatch (92,685 miles) at $3200. I have owned and loved this car for 7 years, but I'm moving to a new location and we only have 2 parking spaces, so it's time to let it go to a good home. Before me, the vehicle was owned by a family friend (older woman) who only drove it about 1k miles per year, hence the low mileage. I paid for a CarFax report, and linked it at the bottom of the listing. I will also include a full service history with the car, and a paper copy of the CarFax.
Notable features: Entirely unmodified/clean DX hatchback. Automatic transmission, with air conditioning. New head unit (CD/Aux) and all speakers replaced.
I have a clean Pennsylvania title in hand. The vehicle was inspected this month, and required steering rack boots to pass, with no other issues. It is entirely mechanically sound, fully RUST-FREE, and drives wonderfully. Oil changes were performed every 5-6k miles (depending on amount of highway driving) with full synthetic oil. The vehicle is Virginia emissions certified, passing last year.
Other recent maintenance: - Rear drums, shoes, and brake bleed 7/2020 - Replaced front quarter panel, resurfaced front bumper (damage from a scrape incident) 8/2020 - New rear bumper (replaced due to age and slight crack) - Cleaned and sealed typical rust trouble spots 7/2020 - New battery 4/2020 - Timing belt 6/2019 - CV Axle replaced 11/2017 - Front brake pads replaced at 68k miles 4/2017
Flaws (all cosmetic and pictured): - Small crease dent on rear wheel well - Small amount of JB weld spilled on the paint on the driver's side door/quarter (cold weather mirror repair mistake) - Very shallow hood dent. It's there, but barely noticeable. - Slight paint spot on drivers side front bumper - Driver's door handle is partially broken. Handle still functions fully, and a replacement handle is included. If time allows, I can install this for you.
I have accumulated various parts, and I am including them with the vehicle: - Factory match paint and clear coat spray cans - Original Civic rear badge (fell off due to age) - Factory front license plate bracket - Reproduction wheel covers - Driver's door handle - Spare headlight bulb - Spare clips (interior and exterior) - 2 spare wheel nuts - Extra windshield wipers - Full synthetic oil and filter - Transmission fluid
Oil change is due in about 2k miles, and a partial transmission fluid flush in about 5k miles. I will entertain reasonable offers below my asking price. Message me or reply to this post if you're interested, and I will send you my contact information. Thanks for your time!
Unless I'm blind, you didn't post your asking price
You're not blind, I'm an idiot and totally forgot the most important part. Fixed, and thanks for the callout. Asking price is $3200, and I'm open to feedback if my ask is high.
No it was a good point, I edited and put the mileage up top so it was more up front. And I appreciate your feedback. My reasoning is, they're a bit hard to find stateside, especially one not completely run into the ground, rusting, or heavily modified. I priced it a bit below slightly cleaner but higher mileage examples I was able to find, and expecting to be bid.
