2007 5spd MT Honda Civic 8x,xxx miles on the car
Car is currently in Scottsdale, AZ. My parents drove this car down from Toronto in the winter time and then flew to take a cruise in Florida, went to Toronto due to COVID19 concerns instead of coming back for the car. They couldn't come back to the US to take the car back due to border closures so I've been holding on to the car.
Car has a canadian title and ownership. Clean title, and Ontario registration. You *cannot* title or register the car in the US, and it simply isn't worth importing it.
Pros:
- Car has a new muffler as of 2019
- 83,xxx miles, new AC compressor installed in 2019. I believe I can find the paperwork for it.
- My family has owned the car for 3 years and it has never given any issues or had the engine light come on.
- Oil change is always done on time in my parents ownership.
- Super good on gas.
- Clean title
Cons:
- Carfax has 2 small fender bender accidents on it prior to my mom's ownership.
- They got into a small fender bender with it here in Scottsdale (approx 5 mph) and just accepted the insurance money since it would take too long to repair it here. Car drives fine and it's not really that noticeable.
- Car was broken into in 2018, passenger window was repaired with non-OEM glass. Does not affect anything.
- Some sort of oil hood stain, purely cosmetic.
- Rear Bumper has a scuff, purely cosmetic
- It's due for an oil change (30% oil life according to the dash)
- Brake light bulbs are out
I live in an apartment and simply don't have enough parking for the car. Sorry this was a lot of information at once. Asking $1.5k OBO - been super transparent of everything I know about the car and simply put I don't have a reason to keep it and my family isn't coming back for it anytime soon due to COVID19.
Happy to drive it within a reasonable distance to the next owner if they don't want a tow. (Car still has Ontario plates and is insured), but you can't register the car in the US, so this would be a purely parts car. Strong engine, transmission, ac compressor, muffler and other good stock parts. Interior is well taken care of as well. No rip in seats or deterioration.
Also happy to arrange if someone happens to be driving up to Ontario or somewhere in Canada, then they could bring the car back to it's homeland. for 1.5k (USD)
