1986 Honda Civic A/C
Hi Everyone,
Just subscribed, looks like a great site. I have a 1986 Civic sedan, pristine condition. The other day, the cool a/c air became warm. I used the on/off switch, and nothing was engaging- this was when I got home. No a/c fan by the radiator fan, no compressor turning on. My mechanic is stumped and knows that it's electrical, so I'm going to bring him the service manual. Help guys, it's hot in Florida and I can't drive without the a/c. We replaced the delay relay assembly, by the glove box, no change, but it was a used part. Then, he replaced the power relays in front of the battery. Nothing still. When he "jumps" the compressor, it comes on. Please help.
