engine light
engine light
Civic coupe 07 LX
My A/C was blowing hot air and I went to look at the relay fuse. I took the relay out and put it back a few times and I turned on and off the car to test it. There are other 2 relays that are similar to the A/C one and I took them out and tried it in the A/C socket. In the end I put all the relays back to the same places. A/C is working but my engine light is on and it will not go away. Do I need to take it to the mechanic, does anyone know how to fix it? I don't think there is anything wrong with the engine, I hope. I just happened today in an hour or so.

Re: engine light
You need to scan it and find out what the code is. Post the actual code number here. If you don't have a scanner, either buy a Bluetooth one on Amazon, or most parts stores will scan it for free

Re: engine light
Not really strange at all. The car's computer has decided that there isn't a problem anymore and has turned out the light. The code might still be stored if you were interested in finding out what it was. It most likely came on from you messing with the relays
