1983 Civic 1500dx question
Considering buying one of these that's still in pretty good shape, seller claims it runs ruff due to old fuel, when I ran it it seams to want to fall on it's face as if starving for fuel, are there common fuel/carb issues to look for first on these?, also does this year Civic have a check engine light/ecm?

How much fuel are we talking about?
If it's a small amount you could bring two Jerry cans. Jump the battery. Disconnect the fuel line, pump it into a can, then replace the fuel with fresh fuel; to test things out.
You'll probably need a small can to catch the fuel out of the line, or extra housing.
