not sure if this is the right place for this thread but I'm thinking about picking this up. The owner says he'd sell it to me for $1000.

To add on more info witht the post, the owner said that it makes a ticking noise and gets rapidly faster with acceleration which in my opinion is a valve adjustment issue and/or LMA. Not sure if this is an issue but the guy that had if before the current owner said he put in a hidden button so the car would start because it has been stolen in the past. Also needs the upper timing cover which is no problem and would need a new gauge cluster. I just want your guys opinions if this would be a good buy. any and all input would be very helpful because I havent owned hondas before really

$1000 isn't that bad, see if you can get it for $700?
the rust in the trunk is a little worrying. speedo issue could also be the sensor is the trans or the wiring.
Not sure if you need to do emission tests in your area, sometimes they don't like swapped cars
