So, i have an iPhone, but it sucks that the Apple CarPlay only limits amount of apps the will work.

Is there a way to mirror the iPhone on to the car display or at least allow all apps to showup on the car display, (mainly google map)?

I been googling, but i only found jail breaking the iPhone, but i'm a little uncomfortable doing that.

Is there a hardware solution maybe?

Hardware solution - New Head unit
Software solution- something is getting jailbroke or rooted!

If you could mirror the phone then you could potentially watch say YouTube while driving down the road which is a big no no.
