Fair Cost for 2017 Sedan EX-L with Sensing
Fair Cost for 2017 Sedan EX-L with Sensing
I am in the process of purchasing my first Civic. What is a good out-the-door price for a 2017 Sedan EX-L with Sensing? I'm in Dallas, TX.
I haven't purchased a new car in over ten years and I'm a little rusty. I've been reading articles and looked at some TMV sites, but info for the 2017 is sorely lacking.
Any positive insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Whats the sticker say that it costs? You won't find much in the way of a price drop on a 2017 civic. It is the 2nd model year in the run and there are still 2016s on lots across the country.
As far as info being lacking, it is the same car as the 2016 unless you are looking at a hatchback model. Price will vary according to region.

Check sites such as edmunds.com to see what other people are paying.
Dealers may be giving deep discounts on 2016 models just to get rid of them.

Re: Fair Cost for 2017 Sedan EX-L with Sensing
I just purchased a 2017 Civic Hatch EX-L Navi with a MSRP of 26,175 and paid 23,790 in New Jersey. My car does not have the $1000 sensing package but it has rear and side camera and Navi which was important to me. I had not purchased a new car in 8 years and am impressed with all the new technology. If I had to negotiate over again I would hold out for a 10% discount off MSRP. Hindsight is always better.
Awesome car.
Awesome car.
