Hybrid mods

I own an 05 Hybrid which I would like to make more fun to drive. Any thoughts on putting struts, springs, sway bars, and wheels from an SI from a salvage yard on it?

Re: Hybrid mods

Better off buying aftermarket suspension stuff if you want the most out of it. Have you checked out the stickies?

I would re-use say bars and springs, not struts or bushings though.

Re: Hybrid mods

I know this is an older post but just a heads up most write ups say to just lay down the back seat to get to the rear strut. That's not possible with the hybrid. You have to pull up the bottom seat then remove he couple bolts holding the back seat in and lift it up. You can then get to the 2 10mm bolts on the front side of the rear strut. Blindsided me last night. I completely new to the civic world, let alone a hybrid, and I tackled it last night.
