99 Honda Civic EX- needs engine

1999 Honda Civic EX - 5 speed manual for sale

The great news? It needs a new engine, and I've priced it accordingly. The bad news? You'll need a truck to get it home, it's not currently running. But we all know you're going to drop an Integra Type R engine into it anyway, so you've got the ultimate sleeper. What better of a way to build your dream ride than with a 1999 Civic Ex?

In the last year, I've replaced the following:

timing belt
water pump
battery
R side rear tire
catalytic converter
spark plugs, air filter, etc..

On top of that, it's got 15% black window tinting all around and a Best Buy installed Viper car alarm!

I've driven this car for the last 7 years, and though it's got some cosmetic issues (it's a 15 year old car, after all), it's still in pretty good shape. I'm no speed demon, the miles I've logged are quite pedestrian. It's also been under a covered carport since May when I bought a new car. This was always a no smoking/pets/kids vehicle.

I'm asking $2700 for this awesome ride. Email me with your number and we'll set up an appointment for you to take a look at it. Located in Tacoma, WA 98402.

Hi, hope you don't mind me asking if you able to sell the car and how much the buyer paid? I'm in a similar situation myself with my son's 2003 Civic LX, with a lot of aftermarket and new parts, but engine barely running (not driveable). I would rather sell it than part it out, but his amp and subwoofer alone are worth more than the dealer want to buy it for.
