I've googled and searched this forum w/o luck-
Is the wiring diagram available to see somewhere?
I need the engine bay portion so I know what wires I'm looking at in the loom I've opened up

Have you checked the repair manual?
Most of the technical documentation is developed based on the system. Unfortunately there isn't an all inclusive document that shows all the connections you want.
Check out this forum post and see if you can find the info you need. They are in PDF and you can save them to your device.

got a pic of what you just opened up? usually, wiring diagrams go by systems, not by physical location in the engine bay.
