dropping transmission on a 97 del sol

I have a 97 del sol and I am pretty sure that I have everything disconnected to drop the tranny but she won't drop. Is there something that I'm missing and if so what? A step by step would be awesome but if not its ok. I'm very well mechanically inclined also.

but she won't drop.
Gravity makes things drop. Got gravity?

Yeah. You are missing a comprehensive description of what exactly you are stuck on and why.

What is or is not happening?

I'm seeing........bellhousing dowel pins corroded and stuck.
