91 hatchback tranny slip problem
91 hatchback tranny slip problem
I have a 91 hatchback that's an automatic. The shift from 2nd to 3rd doesn't catch right away. What options do I have to just manually repair it? Regardless of time an difficulty, would switching to standard be worth it?
Re: 91 hatchback tranny slip problem
How many miles does it have? Usually with automatic transmissions once they go bad they go to trash. I doubt there's much you can do. Swapping a manual transmission is fairly easy , cheap , reliable, and if you like spirited driving once in a while it won't let you down . Good luck.
