'02 Civic SI - Cat Efficency/Camshaft Position Sensor

I just got a check engine light on my 02 Civic Si and had Autozone read the codes. I've forgotten the specific codes but they were for the catalytic system efficency being below threshold and the camshaft position sensor. We read the data for the O2 sensors and it seemed that the downstream O2 sensor was fluctuating instead of staying constant. The engine has had no significant driveability issues, seems to be running fine, no new noises, which would suggest that the connection/sensor for the camshaft position is just bad.

Are these problems possibly linked in anyway? Should I fix the camshaft position sensor before I start diagnosing the cat converter issue? What steps should I take to fix both?

Knowing the actual code numbers might help.

Sensor issue first. Fix that, clear the codes, then see if the cat code returns.

Cam sensor code: Sensor, wiring, terminal tension, terminal corrosion, etc.

Cat code: Cat.
