Aftermarket steering wheel questions

I've been wanting a new steering wheel since the one i have has bad wear marks on it and i'm not into the steering wheel cover. The question I have is what do you guys do about the cruise control buttons? I'd like to be able to still have the cruise option ( ya ya I know, get rid of the cruise) but i'd like to keep that option still in working order.

What have you guys done or do you just eliminate the cruise options? Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket steering wheel questions

I guess it would depend on the wheel you're getting. I would NEVER get rid of cruise... it saves gas on those long commutes.

Re: Aftermarket steering wheel questions

From what i've found so far, you'll have to mount the switches somewhere, or somehow mount them on the steering column cover. I have a Momo hub adapter and there's no place for the clock spring.
