98 civic with d16z6 cyp error

OK I have a 98 civic with a d16z6 I got with some rigged wiring. I know it has a p28 ecu that has 1 wire on the ecu plug that is cut I did a pin out and the wire is for the cyp/p and when I pull the error code it shows up error 9 which is for the cyp.my ? Is where should that wire go? The harness for the car was adapted for an obd1 but can figure out where the cyp/p wire needs to go. The dizzy is a 9 wire distributor Ive read about the cpk bypass but the one i read was for a obd2 ecu not obd1 my car currently has a bad miss and Boggs badly when I press gas quickly

Re: 98 civic with d16z6 cyp error

I wanted to know if I could just run 2 new wires to the distributor from the ecu cause there's 2 cyp wires on the distributor and 2 on the ecu
