Hi all,

I apologize if this post in not according to some required format. This is my first post on this forum.

I had a cross country trip on my car honda civic 2007 automatic LX, Around 4000 miles with total weight of luggage and driver begin ~500 lbs. Mileage reads ~ 55000 miles.

Problem:

I hear some loud drumming noise (especially in Parking and Neutral gear) when I start my car in morning. Its cold here around 10 C. After you drive the car for 15 min, that noise goes away.

My two doubts are as follows:

- I don't know what things to get fixed up after a 4000 miles trip ? Should I goto honda civic service center and ask them to give me an estimate of what needs to be fixed ?

- When we press "select Reset" button; it shows "OIL life 40%" . Is that the engine oil which we change every 3 months or is it the transmission oil ?

If someone can give me an idea, that would really help me.

Search motor mounts on these models, get a good light at take a look at yours on the passenger side and see if it has dropped down.
