Wheels/Upgrades

Whats up guys need some suggestion on a lil bit of everything. I was wondering if i put 18'' wheels on my civic 2012 lx would it change my drive in a any way? i live in los angeles california incase you have any shops where i can go thanks.

Real world answer: My gas mileage dropped. A lot.
My daily commute was getting me as much as 34MPG on the stock fuel-fighter tires.
I haven't seen over 29MPG on my normal daily commute since I put these on.

One of the disadvantages of going with a larger rim is most tires in those sizes are not low resistant, they are more performance oriented. So like ezone said, lower gas mileage.
