Okay so I have two problems with my driver's side tailight. The first is that it always stays lit while the car is running. It looks as if I'm holding the brakes in even while i'm driving. The second problem is that when I press on the brakes, the left turn signal lights up. Both problems are with the same taillight so I'm guessing it may be a wiring problem? I bought this car last year and just recently noticed because a friend showed me. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Do all of the other brake lights work properly?
Same question for parking lights and the turn signals....and backup lights, license, side markers, etc..
(Evaluate all of them, note all that aren't right, see if there is a common denominator.)

I'd be checking the ground point for all the left tail lights, and also looking for which wire is being powered up when it isn't supposed to be.

Sounds more like a rain light on a euro import model.

(be interesting to know how that voltage could be getting back there)
