hmmm sounds interesting, looks like im gonna have to work the morning that weekend so i can go, hopefully well have more people, oh yeah i finally got my rims about about three weeks ago, damn they are sweet, my car looks totally better, and the ride control is just a plus, now i need to get some eibach coilovers and a safe for street ride springs, then ill have a lowered car with soon hopefully coming good engine, damn have to keep an ear out, later

Hello Everyone, I'm a newbie to 7thGENCIVIC.com and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jodie and I'm a 25 year old married female who lives in Tucson. I have a 2001 EX Coupe that is satin silver metallic with the following mods; moonroof visor, dark tinted windows, mud guards, OEM spoiler, OEM style fog lights, 15" Enkei 5 split spoke wheels, full OEM bra, OEM chrome exhaust finisher, Pioneer 8400 CD Player, 2-12" JL Audio subs, 2 Rockford Fosgate amps, Dynamat trunk and door kit and then some, 2-6.5" Pioneer 1667s, OBX Short Ram Intake, and a OEM ashtray/lighter in dash. My future mods are too many to mention right now!!! My husband is almost into it more than I, I focus on the sound and look of it while he focuses on the speed of it. We are just getting into the speed of it as you can tell from our mods so far. I just wanted to intruduce myself and say hello to everyone in AZ and everyone else anywhere else. I figured this was a way I could do so! As mentioned, we are just starting our engine mods and I would like your opinion. We have basically decided to do our engine piece by piece rather than dropping an almost brand new Acura type R engine into it. We have been told many things about it and we think we have decided to do it piece by piece so we can have more fun with it that way. But on the other hand, we could get the Acura engine for just over 10 grand and it might actually be cheaper that way then doing it piece by piece. What do you think? I think that it would be cheaper and more fun to do it piece by piece. I just wanted to get other opinions. I thank you and look forward to your feedback. Jodie

Nah, I'm fine, just feeling incredibly stupid. Today I got it estimated at Raintree Autobody in N. Scottsdale. $3000. OUCH! What kills is that I have a 1000 deductible on my insurance (meaning I can't afford the rims anymore!!). Oh well. I guess I have all summer to save up for that again.

All that really matters is that you learned something out of this and don't repeat that mistake again. You Know? It certainly sounds like you have already learned from this mistake. I think we all at one time or another have rear ended someone for I know I have. I totalled a brand new Ford Aspire by rear ending someone over three years ago now. But, that was a Ford Aspire and yours is a 2k1 Civic, who gives a s*it about the Ford Aspire? Again, you know? I'm coming up to the meet with my husband and we are following Mokushi up there and he is taking his rear ended ride up with him. He got rear ended and has not got the insurance settlement yet and is still cruising up with his baby hurt like that. I seriously don't think anyone would mind if you met us there with your injured baby. We could cry with you!!! I have to take defensive driving school on the day of the meet so I'll be at the Pavillions as soon as my class is over. Got busted doing 88 in a 65 on my way to play raquetball but it got bumped down to 85 to keep it civil.
