wheel help

Hi all, this is only my second post on this forum and I wish it was on a better note.
A little background 03 civic hybrid 165k

Today I rotated my tires on the grounds in which there was a slight thumping while I was driving. So I criss crossed the wheels driver to passenger front to back. Now the thumping is ten times worse. I checked for wheels baiting fails and lumps and bumps on each tire and everything seems fine. I'm not sure what's going on. Can anyone help

Thanks a bunch everyone

Re: wheel help

You put the noisy tires on the front, now they are much more noticeable.

Re: wheel help

Will putting the noisy tire on the front work its self out or should I get be tire?

Depends.
Depends on what the actual problem is, and how bad the tires are.
If the tread is only choppy on the edges, maybe.
If there is diagonal wear across the face of the tire tread, junk it.

If it is only edge wear:
It might come out if it is only a little bit choppy.
If it is significant, I might put the tires back where they started and swap them side to side instead of front to rear.

Chances are good that they will just stay noisy for the rest of their natural lives too.

If there is decent tread and noise is the only issue, I'd suggest to keep driving and get your moneys worth out of the tires.

Next time
Pick better tread design
Check the wheel alignment
Rotate them regularly
