Thermostat Gasket for 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid

Is there thermostat housing gasket for a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid? I purchased a new thermostat and rubber gasket for the thermostat but I cannot find a gasket for the housing (see attached picture). The previous owner used RTV for this gasket.

Re: Thermostat Gasket for 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid

There is no separate gasket for that area. Use silicone RTV sealant.

Honda wants one of these sealers:
Hondabond 4, 08717-0004
Hondabond HT, 08718-0001
Honda Ultra Flange sealant, 08718-0003
Honda Ultra Flange sealant 2, 08718-0009

or Permatex Ultra Gray from any parts store.

Follow instructions in the service manual and on the sealant container, let it cure before refilling the system.
