Replacing or repairing door lock cylinder?

thanks to a couple of savages who broke into my car last thursday, I am now wondering if anyone knows how i can repair the door lock that they pushed through to unlock the door?

I can still see the cylinder but it is just out of reach of pliers, can the door handle be removed to get better access?

Pull the door panel off and start digging.
I'm reasonably sure that if the cylinder got pushed in then some parts will have been damaged.
