Front Turn signal bulb access'98 DX
Other than removing the front tire and inner fender is there an easier way to access the front turn signal bulb?
There's an issue with the bulb, socket or wiring
The turn signal flashes slowly and weak
Already cleaned & applied dielectric grease to the wiring ground near the front right turn signal socket
Same for the bulb then it worked for a few days, now back to problem again
Argh
Checking it out is a pain to remove inner fender each time, so wondering if there was another way to access it easier
Also, chime in on the electrical issues if you have suggestions
Thanks

Turn the wheels all the way to one side
Peel down only enough of the liner to stuff your arm in.
Presto, 1/10 of the work.

Voltmeter time.

Re: Front Turn signal bulb access'98 DX
Update today
Still removed front tire as it just makes things more accessible
Although if I was just changing a bad bulb, then I would definitely follow ezone's advice
Double checked the ground connection which was ok
Then went back to front right turn signal assembly
Unplugged socket from wiring harness & all looked good
Put dielectric grease on wiring connectors inside the plug & the ground connection inside the socket
Result = working fine
Now to wait & see if it was a permanent fix

Re: Front Turn signal bulb access'98 DX
Tip to help narrow down the possibilities:
If it quits again, I'd have it so the bulb is trying to work (signals are flashing, lights on, whatever the issue is) while you mess with it.
Watch and see if it starts working as you touch/move/wiggle wires and connectors.
Whatever you just touched is the likely culprit.

It kept working fine no matter what I did (pulled at the connector, wiring, bulb, etc)
I guess time will tell...
Thanks again
