CVCC auxiliary valve part #??

So I have a few questions. let me tell you the scenario first, I have a hook up to buy a super cherry forest green 1981 Honda civic 4 door wagon with 140k on it. usually ran great but now one of the auxiliary valves is stuck.
for 1000$ I feel like this would be a pretty decent deal figuring I could have it fixed over one weekends time. HOWEVER, like she said the part is pretty hard to find.

it has the 1500 cvcc engine and I am a little confused about the part number.
are any other years compatable with this? there are a few parts on Ebay but for a 79 or an 80.

CMS give me this code: 14731PA6010

but there are some valves on ebay that are code: 14731-657-003
however these are for civic 1300 1980 and civic 1978-1979

this is going to sound stupid.....can they fit? I only ask because Im getting desperate in finding these parts! does anyone have some spare buddies lying around??

ALSO, when I go to http://www.hondapartswebsite.com/OEM...731PA6010.html
and type in the parts number CMS Gave me I CAN order one.....but when I try to go specific year they wont go past 1984.

oh boy am I lost

DUDE: 4 Door wagon is a FIVE door car in the parts catalogs.

This is an official Honda site, it goes back to 1970. You can pick your local dealers if they participate in the eDealer program, you can look at their inventory etc.
(Just checked my dealer-- we aren't on it, and neither is any of the other 3 dealers that are within a 1 hour drive LOL)

Most of this looks discontinued, according to the site.

You may be screwed if the factory can't supply what you need anymore. Suggest inquire at local machine shops, see if they have sources for odd parts, and aftermarket.
If you want to know if other year parts fit, I can only tell you to look up the parts for those years and compare part numbers.

------------------------------------------------------------
BUT:
I actually checked the part number you posted: 14731PA6010 (Needs dashes to look like 14731-PA6-010)

Looks like 81 82 83 1300/1500cc use the same part number you posted.

VINTAGE PARTS INC. is named as a source on that part number.
Looks like at least one IS available at this moment.
MSRP is $23.40 (USD)
You need to call (or go to) your dealer and talk with a human being. (Hopefully one that is smarter than your average bear and can use the system, not a rookie kid fresh from the McDs drive-thru lane....)

Re: CVCC auxiliary valve part #??

Well being new to Hondas I was trying to not **** anyone off by mis quoting a honda part. Thats the reason I referenced the part number with no dashes and the model as a 4 door wagon.

Thanks for the lead and all the tips ezone!
I will check it all out and post more if/when I get it!
