Dc5 type r struts on a em2(05 civic)

Hello, I'm looking everywhere to find this answer.

I bought some neuspeed lowering springs for my civic and i don't wanna ruin my stock struts, but a guy is selling some dc5 type r struts for cheap and i dont mind to ruin them.

Could it work?
Thanks.

The dc5 will only fit your car if your civic is a 03-05. 01-02 won't fit without modification.

And you'll blow both civic and dc5 struts out with the neuspeed springs
