Smile Cold air intake

i was wondering which would be better to get, the long ram cold air intake or the short ram, typhoon cold air intake?

some people told me that if water gets into the filter it can possible blow your engine, but you can get covers to go over the filter to provent water from getting in...

which is better?

Re: Cold air intake

I think long is better for street cars- usually torque is increased and the high end is not compromised in comparison to a short ram.
Check each manufactuer claims on perfroamance. Some are street legal and may be 1-2 HP , while others can be 10-15 hp increase alone.
What engine do you have ? K20 or R18 ?

Re: Cold air intake

Short ram is much safer. I prefer it myself and I'd never recommend a cold air intake to anyone that drives the car as a DD.
