DIY SI Spark Plugs
The R-18 is much easier since there is less to get out of the way. (I have an R-18) so I borrowed this DIY from Blink330. Thanks.
Tools Used:
Standard Ratchet
10mm socket
12mm socket
Decently long extension
Flathead screwdriver
Pliers Spark Plug socket
of course pop the hood, you want to remove the plastic piece at the bottom of the windshield....
and to do so remove the 3 plastic clips with the flathead..
one in the middle
one on the left..
and one on the right..
next you just pop it out of place gently..
after its out of place flip it over and unplug the tube for the windshield washer fluid..
just a simple pull apart will do.
then just simply remove it and set it to the side, and it should look like this..
next you'll wanna remove the metal cover that is underneath the plastic cover..and to do so simply remove the 9 bolts..
one in the middle, this is where you'll need your extension..
then four on the left and right side..
once the bolts are removed simply pull it off the car, then you should be able to get to your spark plug cover easily..
better angle..
next you'll want to remove the spark plug cover, and to do so remove the four screws on top of it with the 10mm socket..
next you should have this..
and you'll want to remove the bolts that secure the ignition coils..
then unplug the wiring from the coils and remove the coils..

I can't see the center electrode on that plug (pointy bit that's within the ceramic insualtor/below the curved part). Color looks good, but the electrode condition/gap is what would be the tell.
The gap between the two electrodes should be .039"-.043" (1-1.1mm)
