Automatic Starter options on 2011 Automatic Civic
Automatic Starter options on 2011 Automatic Civic
I recently bought a 2011 Honda Civic, and while I love it, I am regretting not having a car with an automatic starter. A quick inquiry to the dealership indicated that having one installed was going to be $$$!!, so am hoping there are other possible options. I know that the national repair stores have specials and I can get one installed for under $300. Won't that effect the warranty, though? Has anyone had an aftermarket auto starter installed? Any advice is appreciated!

Every independent audio shop will be stocking remote starters at this time of year, those are the shops you want doing the work, just check your phone book and make a few phone calls.
If your concerned about the warranty, just call Honda and confirm.

Thank you for your feedback. Honda confirmed that it will void my warranty if I have it installed anywhere other than an authorized Honda dealership. Since I don't want that - it looks like I'm back to square one.
I appreciate your input!
