I just do not understand how every morning i wake up to see new scratches on my black 2006 civic and my father's black 4runner. Now they are not big scratches but they are all around the car and more appear daily, i have a feeling it might be a cat or a raccoon who is trying to climb the car because this morning i saw some scratches on my driver side window.

Any ideas on what i can do to prevent this from happening everyday?
I am planning to pick up two car covers from pep boys today afternoon. (they are pretty pricey)

i had squirrels and cats come up and down my car before and they usually leave greasy paw or other prints on the windows so thats one way to tell.

I had the same problem, I just started parking somewhere else because aside from a car cover I couldn't think of a solution..
