2002 Civic LS A/C problems
2002 Civic LS A/C problems
AC quit cooling. Vacuumed system, added 134a, cooled for awhile and gradually quit over several hours. Found leaking low side valve and replaced cores in both low side and high side schroeder valves. Recharged and still have a massive leak. Was going to recharge and put more dye in system and discovered that when I'd added about 12oz. of 134a that the low side pressure was up to 150 psi as was the high side. Knew this was way to high and stopped. Refrigerant of course leaked out. Prior to this the compressor would kick in and when I'd added enough 134a to get low side up to 40psi or so would be cooling. This last time when I go the high pressure reading it wasn't cooling. Am a DIYer trying to learn to service my old cars. HELP!
