Lost my keys to my 1991 civic!!
Anyone know how to get a new key for my 1991 civic?? I only got 1 when i got the car and i never got a key code with it either so anyone know if I can get a replacement? I own the vehicle with title in hand the car is unlocked too which is a plus I think. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Lost my keys to my 1991 civic!!
Call a locksmith. It being the weekend it's gonna be expensive (I can almost guarantee $100+). If you can wait until normal business hours on Monday then it will be considerably cheaper.
Or you can stick a flathead screwdriver in the key slot and with a quick, sharp motion turn it. ***Caution: This will ruin the ignition and should only be used in an emergency situation.*** (plus you will have to have it replaced and re-keyed by Honda, which is expensive)
When you get a new key they will copy it for $1-2. Get multiple copies and keep a flat one in your wallet. 1 key won't affect your wallet thickness that bad.
