Buyers Questions?

Hey, im currently looking at getting a 2000 Honda Civic SE (Canada). The car is safetied and has 125,000 KM on the D16Y7 engine. Besides an upgraded sound system (touch screen and speakers) there really has not been much done to the car. He is asking $6300 CND o.b.o, am I crazy to think that is a little high, should i ask for 5500?

Re: Buyers Questions?

6300 CND (6429USD if I did the math correctly?) is a bit high. I bought my 2000 honda ex with 103k miles for 4400USD and it was bone stock and had a dent in the fender. With that low mileage on a 11 year old car im assuming the car must be in great shape all around. I doubt he'll take $5500 unless he's in a rush to sell it. I would say $5800 would be a good offer on both your behalf and the sellers.
