I have had it sitting around for almost 2 years..I ran it for a year with no problem and then something shorted out (It was an install issue that was taken care of completely) It was sent into Ohio Generator for repair and I never re-installed it when it came back as I had plans to sell the car. If I remember correctly the rating on this is 180 amps which is a huge upgrade to the stock 70(or 80) amps.

Since I did not install this or have any general knowledge of installing these kinds of things I am unsure if you will need additional installation parts like brackets or spacers. My local car audio shop installed it. One call to Ohio Gen and they could probably answer any of your questions. The only thing I do know is that they recommend upgrading the power and ground wires to 4awg. I say this because all that is in the box is the alternator and nothing else.

I would like to get $200 or trade for a stellar set of 6.5 component speakers. I paid around $550 when I purchased it brand new.
