Civic Si Swap to b18?

I have a 2000 civic si. The engine needs replaced do to a cracked ring in the number 2 cylinder. I was wondering if the b18 GSR engine would work with out any troubles? Like If i just bought the engine with no tranny.

Re: Civic Si Swap to b18?

No, it won't. Stick with a B16 straight swap and put some extra cash into the engine, rather than trying to convert to something different.
