So, I have had this honda civic del sol for a while....

I am tired of how slow it is, so I am about to dump 8k into its engine etc..


Now... I have a few questions for you all - What swap should I do? it's running stock right now - I just painted it metallic black, and put some 17" rims on it.

But it's not quick enough for me and I want to change that.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.... HELP ME PIMP OUT MY RIDE ALL SUGGESTIONS WILL BE SERIOUSLY LOOKED INTO!

for 8k, you could afford to swap in just about any engine aside from a k20a or b18c5 if you do the labour yourself. The k20z1 or k20z3 would be my choices.

My buddy dropped a GSR B18 into his del slow, pretty badass for a stock engine

Sounds like a decent deal, there's not much info on the parts..

Don't forget a 6 speed transmission is another $1k.
