Project 84 Honda awd

Ok so here's my idea you all know that Honda made the civic in 84 and they made a wagovan that was awd in 84 so does anyone think that if I take the shell off the civic and put it on the wagovan and put the civic motor in there and keep the awd drive train and build it up does anyone see anyone any problems with this?

Re: Project 84 Honda awd

It's been done a few times, but it takes quite a bit more work than the average swap and I have never seen a good thread that outlines the potential incompatibilities.

Re: Project 84 Honda awd

look for cibaru - they did similar, but on a subaru.
there is also the civette - corvette, but they did not drop the chassis on a corvette.

that is just to illustrate that with enough time and money, anything can be done.
If your question is about difficult, i would start from the overall wheel base and stuff. not sure if is same.

there were one guy asking for swapping crv stuff to a 7th gen civic, you can search in the forum - i posted some links there. but this is also different from your case.
