Passenger Seat Belt

Hey guys i have a 2002 honda civic ex 4dr and ever since i bought the car like a year ago the passenger seat belt never clicks on the first try like its supposed to. you have to keep doing it over and over again till it clicks and i wanted to get that fixed! whats the issue, and how can i fix it? thanks

dude i have that same problem with my pasenger seatbelt, it drives my friends crazy cus they have to try like 3 times to get it, idk if it needs to be replaced or if its just dirty,

i know, i wonder what it is ! maybe we have to take apart the seat belt clip and clean it

My dad had a civic that use to do this...we discovered that if you press the release button immediately prior to buckling it, it would catch on the 1st try...Check it out. See if that works for you. Press, release, buckle...It got to be a habit and i found myself doing it in other cars unnecessarily

take it to the nearest dealer!! i had that problem for my driverside belt and they told me that its under life time warranty. if its the buckle itself(most likely) then its free, if its something electrical then you will be charged. for me it was just the buckle. they had my color in stock and changed it with in 30 mins of going.

thanks i went to the dealer today and he ordered the part i have to go back friday to fix it and its covered 100 % ))))))
