offer price?

Found a 1999 EBP em1 with 51,000 miles, all stock, no accidents, no problems, etc. Seller is asking $10,000. I looked up values in Kbb: Private Party: $7305, Retail: $8680, and Edmunds: $6329. I realize this car is becoming a rare find, but $10k seems a bit high. Any thoughts on a fair offer price?
Thanks!

Re: offer price?

It makes no sense, and I have never heard of such a thing.

Strange.

Re: offer price?

I got a 1999 b18 swap 60k miles on engine just look on forsale but its more built for the track than daily driving the clutch is hard to pull out in stage 6 puck lol but is turbo rdy b18 9 compress so it will last longer than any b16 or that **** also have new stock clutch and flywheel to put it back to daily driver will do for extra 300 bucks takes about a day.But i also know where a good 100k si stock no mods is for 5k not to fast but its okay just let me know.Just tryin to sell and help you find a nice ride thats affordable but if you gonna mod i think my si is the cheapest one ive seen.

Re: offer price?

it is a nice find but as steven said, 7500. i personally would start at 7 since the most he can do is say its to low, then start bidding a bit higher. (negotiation skills is key! :P ) cash talks :P

Re: offer price?

Thanks for all the replies! Just noticed that the Si I'm talking about is in the "for sale" section. I'm not sure how to link to it, but if you're interested in checking it out. It's there!
