rims and putting them on my ride

ok, real quick. i've been searching and couldn't come up with a clear answer to the following question: When i buy rims, do i need diff lugs or a kit w/ lugs and all that good crap in order to put my rim on? I know this prolly seems like an ignorant question coming from someone who has done as much work as i have already done, but this is my first car and i have never purchased aftermarket rims. i would assume i need diff ones, so how do i know what i need?

thanx,
Scotty

nah you dont, most wheels come with new lugs. you might wanna pick up some lock nuts though.

Sepending on the rims, you might need whats called a tuner lug. When you pick the rims you want just ask if they need tuner lugs!

ptrulock, don't join warehouse cause you get crappy seats, you won't get any better seats. that is a myth that used to be true but hasn't been since i have been a member, about two years now. the ONLY benefit, and this is iffy, is that you get a much better chance of actually getting seats. take for example the chicago shows this weekend. they sold out in 5 minutes. if you were in warehouse, you would have seats. they wouldn't necessarily be better, but you'd have them.

jmythngdmb, you should get some wheel locks, but i think most of the time you get tuner lugs with the rims. at least you do if you order from whalentire.

How did you know i was into the DMB? I prolly posted something before? Anyway I saw them in Buffalo last week. (best set i've ever seen them play, Boyd went nuts, it was so sweet) Will see them both nights at saratoga springs and i will see them at Darien Lake a few days before. The warehouse bases seats on how long you have been a member and how many people request tix for the show you want to go to. I am a second year member and i think you shoul join. Since i have joined I had 13th row right in front of dave last year in Buff. this year i got good seats to Buff and good ones to Saratoga on the first night. Dunno bout Darien yet but i have no doubt it'll be good. Even if you don't get good ones, you still have a much better chance of going. I suppose it would be harder to get good seats as the number of members grows and as the demand for seats in your area goes up. And for all those who answered my questions thank you.

I used to go see dave all over the place, but now that he's gotten too mainstream his concerts aren't as much fun as they used to be. They pack too many people into venues that can only support enough and they you can't even more around. - This is what I've found.

yeah i hear that alot, now that DMB is all big the people who used to see them don't really wanna now. I understand that though, i am newer to the band than them and even i would like to see him play smaller venues cus it is more fun that way. Thing is, I'm only 18 so it wasn't untill recently that i could just go to whatever concert whenever i wanted, so i am prolly one of those new poeple i guess you'd say. I love the band though and i love the music and i will go see them and support them every chance i get. peace
