just jack it up and u shoudnt have a problem. we did my friends chevy truck with a 5/7 drop and we just jacket it up and had no problems.
It's usually a good idea to jack the car up as high as you can just to give yourself more room to work. (DON'T FORGET TO USE JACKSTANDS!) If your floor jack won't lift the car up high enough for your liking, put a block of wood between the frame of the car and the top of the jack. Before you actually start unbolting things, try spraying all of the bolts with a penetrating oil and letting it sit for a while--this should make everything come apart a little easier. Also, the rubber hangers may need to be sprayed as well to enable them to slide off freely. All in all, it's a pretty straightforward process. Good luck!

just jack it, unscrew everything, put the new stuff on, but don't forget the gaskets!!, and turn on your car and listen for leaking exhaust!
I took mine to a nearby Air Force Base to use their car lift, and it only took me like 25 minutes to install. I stripped one of the bolts connecting the pipe to my Cat too and ended up taking the car to midas to get all the connections soldered to make sure it was airtight, it is very simple to do but I dunno how hard it would have been with only jackstands, especially the DX/LX models with the cat way up in the front.
