Project: JDM Style Makeover *Updated *3-26-04*
updated: grilles and carbon fiber "H" emblem installed... scroll to bottom to see pics..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided my car needed a scheme change... so I embarked on an adventure into JDM styling territory... yea yea, i know there aren't any JDM coupes, but I just fell in love with the way "JDM styling" looks... i dunno how to explain it... its just clean...
so here are my plans for the makeover...
JDM Black Housing Headlights (done)
Paint Chrome L.E.D. washers from chrome to black (done)
Paint Altezza Grille mesh & Bumper mesh from white to black (done)
Powdercoat Rims Gunmetal Color (next)
OEM Side Skirts
2004 Civic OEM Rear Bumper
2004 Civic OEM Rear Tail lights
Mugen Grip Pedals
Spoon Shift ****
OEM Floor Mats
H.I.D. Lighting Kit
JDM Amber Sidemarkers
sorry guys... no more angel eyes... they were cool but JDM now pwnz me...
Painting the housing gloss black

i bought a set of black housing, but the driverside was cracked... my old cleared headlights, the passenger side was cracked cuz of my accident...

differences in headlights... cleared, cleared/black housing, uncleared/black housing

No more chrome L.E.D. washers... they were painted black, even the L.E.D. part so even if my ricer ways came back, they won't light up anymore...

headlights installed... grilles were still drying because the black paint wasn't dry yet.. so pics with the grilles on will come tomorrow the 26th...

the white rims are killing me, can't wait till i get them powdercoated...

I will update this post as my project progresses...

looks good, very stylish, but yah i dont think its very jdmish. you got some elements in there which looks good but to have that true jdm look you have to change many things.
i give your H a week before they get jacked. maybe yellow or ion fogs would be more 'jdm' than the white fogs and more functional, and i think they would look better located in the out vents then the inner ones. overall the car looks good and i can't wait to see the new power coated rims.

but yea, the cf one isn't as obvious as the red ones which get jacked all the time... and about the fogs, i'm thinking of getting yellow ones, we'll see what happens... but right now, they don't bother me too much... not as much as the white rims bother me... but since i just got a job, 1st paycheck is going to powdercoating the rims gunmetal... which will be in about 2-3 weeks...
