Yo guys I have a 2002 civic lx with the 1.7 SOHC. I have been lookin for more power such as adding a supercharger or turbo. I looked into a supercharger and found that Jackson racing used to make one for this engine, but since they got bought out are incredible hard to find, and as far as I know nobody else makes one for this engine. Does anyone know which company makes the best turbos for this car. Comments and/or links would be apreciated.

As far as I know, JR never made a supercharger kit for the D17..

As for turbo, you'll need to do a lot of research.. It's not as easy as slapping on a turbo kit and calling it good.. You'll have to deal with engine management, fuel delivery, and depending on how much power you wanna make, possibly upgrading the cam..

This forum is full of turbo information, you just have to be patient using the search feature.

Thanks but I'm aware that there's more to turboing a car than just slapping a turbo on. I'd just like to see what people think and find which kind of turbo I'd be getting then research the rest later accordingly.

As for the OP this forum is dead. Jackson racing never made a kit for the d17. Like other guy said use the search function. Unless you want dummbass replies like the one above.
