Raido power wires melted

Raido power wires melted K im a scrub at this too. Anyone mind helping me? I just got my 93 civic coupe dx and both power wires to the radio are melted. The red and yellow and blue and white. Just take it that i need a harness for the junk yard?? any other ideas?? plz help i want a radio .

you can rewire it... just cut the old ones out and tape them off or wtv... and run a new wire from your fuse box to the radio "red wire" and the yellow one is from Your ijnition switch witch u can run a new one or just use your old one.. i would just use your old one.. if it still works check first if it dosnt then u have to run a new one...
and the black wire on ur radio just ground it .... to a bolt or nut... are u installing a stock or after market radio..
thers 2 white wires..... right....? one thats all white and one thats white with a black stripe right...?
