take a blow dryer and blow dry the emblem till the glue gets softened up. then after u do that for a couple minutes slowly peel the emblem off. then wutever glue is left jus rub it off with a wet rag and there u go
take any chisle and place it between the emblem and your car, hit it really hard on the top it will slid down the car about an inch and loosen the glue. then hit it on the side intil it moves off the back of your car and falls off. take a rag of glue-off and whipe off the remaining glue. works well and takes about 10 minutes to do.

eProdigy, WTF. DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM. A chisle, are you nuts, your gonna fawk up the paint job. Just use some heat, and the glue loosens up, then either peel it off or use something like floss or a string to slide behind it. Then, scrub off the remaining glue. Wash and wax. Chisle, you must be out yo damn mind.
LOL@ CHISLE!

for me the glue was a b*t(h to remove, but I had sum 3M adhesive remover, which helped a lot. really easy to do, and really looks good afterwards.
* I've found that a can of WD-40 and a lighter works really good. Make sure to use the little red hose. Then strike a flame with the lighter and hold it about 2 inches from the emblem. Spray the WD-40 at the flame so that fire shoots at the emblem. After about 20 seconds the emblem will curl, melt and peel off. Any residual glue will be easily rubbed off because the unburned WD-40 will have softened it up.
Happy shaving!

no you guys got it all wrong. What you do is heat the car up to about 3000 degrees celicus, and then remove the car from the emblem. Then you take the emblem and wipe all the rest of the glue from it and then throw your car away.

Use 1 part Gillette
2 parts Mach 3 razor
and a pinch of canned elbow grease...
Should take 10mins or so...Let stand 5 mins to have yourself a glance..
I'm thinking of shaving my emblems, but I want to relocate my CIVIC emblem. once I get it off the current position, what kind of prep to the emblem and glue do I need to re-adhere it to another part of the car. (I'm thinking of moving it to where the "H" symbol is right now)
Also can someone explain to me how I should go about filling in the two holes where the "H" is right now. I read somewhere about using "bondo". Can someone tell me what that is and how permanent it is. Like if I wanna put the "H" back on later...am I just screwed? Thanx again.

Check this out..

To reattach the emblem, just take off all the existing glue, and use some 3M Emblem glue. Can find it at AutoZone and probably any other local auto store. The glue does get a little stringy so you suggest applying it on a something else to see what it does. Your holes question is further down the above thread.
