if someone was to hit me, and wreck my bumpers, could I get aftermarket or does it have to be OEM replaced?

Thanks Vtec - i appreciate it -

Machina - it really does not matter who's fault it is as the company would have to repair your vehicle anyways (providing you have the proper coverages) - if you had a aftermarket kit ob the vehicle, and you LET THEM KNOW you have this on, they have no excuse but to put on the same thing that was on their prior to the loss ocurring - now, its a different story if they all the sudden find out you have $5000 invested in the vehicle after the fact, you need to let them know prior - mind you this may cost you a bit in premiums - also depends on your age and sex - Companies don't like fast and furious vehicles - the first thing an apprasier is going to check is the engine to see if you race the vehicle or how fast it can go - thats wen you can get into trouble - I'm not sure i would want to invest a ton of money into an engine if they won't cover ti becuase of an accident -

What is the average insurance for full coverage for a 19yr old?....I am getting a 2002 Civic 2dr Ex 5sp...Would it be cheaper to keep it in my moms name b/c they have never gotten into an accident or have gotten a ticket? Should I stick with their insurance b/c of there records or would i be able to get lower somewheres else? If you could answer these questions it would be great. Thanks.
