Talking How to regularly clean and maintain the shine of your car?

I just washed, polished and double coat waxed my 06 Civic FD on the weekend. It took me about 4 hours.

I don't have garage parking, so my car is basically parked outside 24/7. It looks great now, but I'm worried about the dust, rain, sun, basically the environment.

How do I regularly clean and maintain the shine of my car?

I was thinking of some simple/quick steps to take regularly to keep it looking good.

Thanks.

just keep washing every week or so. and keep the wax up. my two favs are 3M performance finish followed by mothers reflections top coat. my 02 still looks pretty much like new and its been outside most of its life. and get some trim detailer like meguiars and use that on the black plastics and rubber to keep them from cracking.

I used Meguiar's Soft gel for washing and Meguiars deep crystal polish and deep crystal carnuba wax. It took 4 hours, and I don't wish to spend 4 hours every week.

Is there something I can do for my car every week that only takes like 15 mins max?

no need for a long car wash. and wax usually lasts couple months. if the car isnt filthy, you can use a quick detailer spray and "dry" wash the car with just the detailer and a couple cloths. should only take maybe 15 mins.
