Does your e-brake suck?
does your e-brake like sometimes not hold your car on a semi steep hill that other cars are parked on? i need to go get some stuff fixed by Honda soon, is this part of what I need to add to my list? so far i have: squeaky driver seat when you sit down, driver window will make a crack sound when its down half way and you roll it up, 1st to 2nd gear clicks (not often), when driver door is open the unlock switch will only lock all other doors, not drivers....
As far as I know all hondas when you open the drivers door when you flip to lock the door it will lock all the other doors except that door to keep you from locking the keys in the car. But if you pull the handle on the driver door out and then push lock it will lock all doors including the drivers door all my familys honda civics do that our 88 civic hatchback, the 95 4 door civic and my 01 civic.

After a while the e-brake may need to be adjusted(I guess tightened or something.) It's pretty trivial...I had it done once when I took my car to the dealer for an oil change and they didn't charge for it.
off the lot it seems like you have to pull pretty damm far up to park on a hill, compared with other cars. On my old 84 ford truck the parking brake went out, but I could still park on hills, 1st gear could hold the car by itself.

Yep, all hondas I am almost certain have the door lock thing. I can't quite remember but it seems like my 00 accord didn't have that and you could lock the driver's door without pulling the handle or anything. I never touch the switch except to lock the doors when I am in the car. Otherwise, I use the remote.
The e-brake works through cables that are attached to the rear brakes. When you pull the handle up it pulls on the cables and tightens the brakes. So, they do work themselves a little loose overtime and the cables just need to be adjusted.
Seat squeaking, find out exactly where it is coming from. It may just need a little lube to quiet it up.
No clue about the window.

I tightened my emergency brake. I lifted up the back of the car and I took off the center console. There's two bolts to tighten. I spun the wheels and then tightened the bolts until the wheels still spun while the emergency brake was down. It helped a little, although I could use some disc brakes in back when on hills.
Disc brake doesn't help here. I have disc at the back and my e-brake won't hold my car on a slope unless I pull the handle all the way up to the verge of breaking it. But I put it in first all the time so doesn't really matter.
